Residents of Arizona for 22 years, Larry and Sandy Prince began their metal art career over 20 years ago. Inspired purely by their appreciation for the work of other artists, they began their creative journey with little equipment or resources. Over the years, Larry and Sandy have developed both their sense of balance and composition, and have broadened their use of equipment and materials to include brass, copper, and stainless steel.
Their combined talents offer a wide range of metal art, from large scale free-form abstract work to southwest motifs. Their work is both public & private collections across the United States.
Larry and Sandy Prince sculpture titled ‘SUNRISE” was selected by the San Diego Museum of Art for their exhibition “Art Alive 2000”.
Today the Prince’s work is available through galleries located in both La Jolla (Galeria JAN) and Laguna Beach, California, and
Carefree, Cave Creek, Glendale, Phoenix, Sedona and Sun City in Arizona.
The city of Peoria proudly displays Larry’s interpretation of the United States. This unique design combines elements of copper, depicting the copper state of Arizona, brass, for the capital of our country, Washington D.C. and steel, presenting the strength of our democratic Union.
